Texas Week 12 (Maybe 13? We're getting confused!)

Helloooo everyone!

This week has been crazy. It's been super busy but slow with the work. People have had the craziest schedules and it's hard to get in contact with them. However with transfers and moving and stake conference we definitely had our hands full.

Tuesday we saw soooo many people before Sister Park left! That day was busy from sun up to sun down. It was so fun to get to visit everyone even if it wasn't for the best occasion.

Sister Kioa arrived on Wednesday! She is pretty awesome! We've been pretty busy since she got here teaching and finding and all the missionary things.

We got back in contact with Larry! We have come to realize that he needs to be reading the Book of Mormon. It is so vital for him to be able to grow his faith before he is ready to recommit to baptism. In the midst of everything that we go through in this life, we need something to fall back on, and that is the Book of Mormon and the church. Larry really needs that right now.

We also got to see Hillary and Chris! They are still doing really well! It's been really awesome to see their improvement and progression. They're still planning on being baptized June 30th! I am so excited for them, they're so prepared.

We got to visit with Jimmy and he came to stake conference! He loved it! During stake conference, Elder Southward of the 70 was there! He came out to the audience and shook people's hands and Jimmy got to shake his hand! He was so happy in that moment. It was amazing to see!

Stake conference was awesome! Having a general authority there just brings and extra spirit. We talked a lot about ministering and how important it is. I think it is the coolest program ever. It shows how inspired the leaders of the church are. We are so lucky.

This Gospel is SO good and true. I love being a part of this Gospel and bringing forth the work of salvation. I love you all so much!! Thank you for all the prayers and support. Until next week!

With love, Sister Emma Joi Gardner
