Week 5 in Texas!

WE'RE MOVING!!! lol yes this Thursday we're moving somewhere else. I don't know the address yet so stay tuned. Blessings abound! Hopefully that means no more roaches, no more cold showers, and no more headaches from weed! We also get a washer and dryer!  We did get a new fridge! The old one, when we moved it out, was infested with roaches. We have sprayed so much poison all around the apartment to try and kill them all. I hate roaches hahaha! I've been out in the field officially a month!! I've almost been on a mission for 2 months! Exciting stuff! So yesterday we were sitting in sacrament meeting and they were announcing the new callings for people in the ward. The new Elder's Quorum President was in the bishopric so there was an opening. Brother Gwilliam, our ward mission leader got called! So we still don't know who our new mission leader will be but brother Gwilliam will be missed. Also, funny story! So we were on the way

The In-N-Out miracle   The sisters with their Ward Mission Leader Sorry, I guess I never got her blog updated last week. Oops! I love getting updates on the fam. Sorry i dont always respond to them directly but I do love reading what's going on! I got the package! You guys are so sweet! I love the clothes too, and I love how momma bought the earrings probably just for the mint flower ones that match the dress 😂 When I first got to our apartment, there were so many clothes! We went through it all and then we got rid of everything else. I found that plumeria shirt and a denim/ chambray long skirt and a few other things!  Also the pictures attached in the email didn't load... Samsung's struggle sometimes. I saw the Easter ones though! Y'all are so cute ❤ (I had asked about some people in her pictures that we see through google drive. We haven’t shared these pictures for privacy reasons)  So M. is the older one that was

I love seeing where she lives! These next two pictures are from Emma's ward mission leader's wife. She is so good to these sisters. It brings me such comfort to know they have her to love and care for them. Thank you soooo much for the package!! I love you so much and I love your handmedowns;) You guys are seriously the best. They all work really well! This morning our fridge stopped working but on the bright side we get a new fridge!! That's why I'm writing a little late this week. Dad, I love that Hazel still plays fetch with you!! That is the cutest! I hope that you will get an answer to move soon! Keep me posted. You could come out and visit Flower Mound or Highland Village, they're out of my area and still close. They seem like really nice. I was there for Zone Conference and I think mom could like them. Your allergies may die out here though, fair warning. I love you too Andrew! Your cake was awesome and I love the Dod

Week 2 in Texas

So I love Texas and I love the people here. It is such a cool place. We had a few rainy days this week and we have another one today. Just 2 days ago it was over 80 degrees! The rain has made everything so green!  So this week we had our first Zone conference! It's was pretty chill but it was long! I learned a lot though and it was refreshing. They also fed us Papa John's pizza! It was so good!  Conference this weekend was also awesome! I love conference. We watched the first session at the stake center here in Denton and then we ended up helping an investigator move during the second one. Hallelujah we can go back and watch!  The solemn assembly was so spiritual. Holy cow, being able to sustain the prophet like that was such and incredible experience. The spirit was so strong. My companion and I looked at each other and we were just in awe by how much the spirit was there.  All the changes that president Nelson has announced
