So, I Love Texas

So I love Texas! Everyone is so nice! I'm in love! It isn't hot yet so I am loving the weather. I have gotten fed every night and everything has been so yummy! They have what they call the Fort Worth 40 and I feel that will totally happen if I'm not careful haha.
My companion is an angel! Her name is Sister Park and she is incredible. The first morning she made me breakfast! She is the sweetest. We also get along super well which is super good! We teach well together too! She is such a blessing!
So we are up in Denton which is north of Fort Worth. Some of it is a little rural so we have seen a lot of cows. I have yet to see any longhorns though.
We also already have investigators! I mean they were here before I got here but I've got to know them and I love them all already!
M. lives out in the middle of nowhere. She has such strong faith too but sometimes she goes off on tangents. So we were over reading the Book of Mormon with her and she starts talking about random stuff with work and then she says, "You know, I know Joseph Smith is a prophet, like this book is so true." And Sister Park and I look at each other in awe. It was so crazy!
We are also teaching a family and when we went over C. was home with her 2 daughters. They're moving this weekend so the house was in dissarry. We immediately jumped in and started to help clean. She was stressed when we got there. At one point she was like, what will it take for ya'll to stop? We said we won't stop. She asked if reading the Book of Mormon would work, and we said yes! By the time we were done reading the chapter the whole vibe changed. There was such a peace there. It was so cool.
After both of those lessons we were just on spiritual highs. I love being a missionary!
We also taught another family and it was only the mom home again. Her name is Hillary and she is so awesome. She has such a strong desire to learn. We read the Book of Mormon with her and helped her understand it. She also has the cutest baby ever!
I just have such a love for everyone out her. The members are awesome and I just love it out here! I love being a missionary!
Questions:
The flight was good! It was chill. I slept for a solid 30 minutes. It's kind dry right now! Like it's green but it's still dryish. Not as humid as I was expecting. I will see how summer goes though haha. Theres a mariott hotel pretty close to our church building so we could easily come out when I get home momma, then you can decide if you want to move here!
We are close to two colleges but we are serving in two family wards! We went to church for like 8 hours yesterday because of that haha, it was long but great!
So Facebook use is up to us but it should be used for helping investigators only. So we only use it if we have a specific purpose. We have only used it to set mine up so far. We have been so busy with appointments we haven't even had time to do much else.
All the sisters get cars! I haven't used my bike yet because our area is so big! With all the country in between and having two wards it isn't the most logical. Other areas use them much more. I want to go on a mini ride for exercise in the morning. It is in our apartment right now though, the stairs aren't too bad. It is on top but it's all good.
I'm so excited for conference! We have investigators we're planning on watching it with so we will probably go to a church building to watch it with them!
So far, no strange food, everything has been phenominal!
I wish I could tell you everything that has happened! It has been so awesome! Ilove Texas so much and I love all your support as well! I love you all so much!
I love you so much!
Love Sister Emma Gardner!!
